Sad thing is that bitch with a tune up probably has another 100k left in her. Hondas are FTMFW. Damn you tai! Now you got me thinking about trying to find one for a daily.
Its only has 4196 on it right now. No, I did not leave out any zeros. I vote resto-mod.

i like the idea of a classic resto but its just too plain fo me. I'm more of a speed and performance freak so like a classic resto race car replica with modern parts lol... if they had a 77 civic race car.

A resto mod would be pretty dope. Mainly due to how original she is. But the paint would have to go. That orangeish red isn't to appealing. But then again if you want it to be correct! Imo restore it then paint it black and try and slam a built B in there and pull the original motor and save it for the collection. Just in case you would ever decide to go all the way with the resto. #s matching FTW once rèstored.

couple more pics from recent work: http://gallery.me.com/tai#100032 I have found for it: new drums, new front struts, new axles, new rotors, new pads, new lines, new carpet, aftermarket alloy 4 spoke 12" 4x120 rims (quite the find), and we have a carb rebuild going on plus ONE brand new cylinder head I found on ebay. This things really coming along, we need to get it running clean on the street so we can get it emmisioned once and then its time to tear it all apart and send it off to paint and body. Tai CorSport

can someone photo shop this car a few different colors so we can get an idea what looks better on it. I agree with the Milano red, we will need to strip it down and do a complete color change though, pull everything off, make it new again.

Yup, total strip down. Paint inside and out. Im thinking stock color plus red flake and tons of clear coat.

You don't really just do tons of clear coat. You can't add too much material. There are ways to make it shine like you want though.

Waiting on James to get the carb checked by an old schooler and the gas drained -- after that if it runs clean we will tear it apart for paint. We've just all been busy.
